During your stay at this traditional temple shukubo lodging, you can experience a variety of activities unique to a shukubo, such as the morning service, the goma fire ritual, Ajikan meditation, and sutra-copying. Sliding doors and walls throughout the temple decorated with Japanese paintings provide beautiful, traditional surroundings, as do the gardens throughout the seasons. Shojin Ryori temple cuisine is made with ingenuity to bring out the original taste of the ingredients and dinner is served in a large hall partitioned by fusuma screens. We offer three types of rooms: VIP rooms, special rooms, and rooms divided from each other by fusuma sliding-doors. In your guest room, you can enjoy the garden that can be viewed from the room as well as the sliding doors and walls each uniquely decorated with Japanese art.
