Kumano-bettei Nakanoshima

Kumano-bettei Nakanoshima hotel is located on Katsuura Bay, surrounded by the deep cobalt-blue sea. This is a private space that is only accessible by private boat from Katsuura Port. A rarity in Japan, this is a “natural hot spring inn floating in Ki-no Matsushima”. The hotel provides a 100% natural hot spring open-air bath with a spectacular view of the rolling waves directly in front of you as you relax.

Seasonal Kaiseki cuisine using seafood and earth’s blessings produced by the region of Nanki Kumano can be enjoyed while gazing at the beautiful sea of Nanki Katsuura. All rooms have ocean views and some also offer their own open-air baths.
